Trump: We will not attack Iran before the midterm elections
Washington, October 8 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump announced that no attack would be launched against Iran before the November 3 midterm elections, stating that "productive talks" were underway with Iran.

Trump stated, "We are holding productive talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran," claiming that Iran is in a very poor position economically and militarily.
Trump also addressed the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the blockade would remain in effect. Trump said, "We will never attack Iran before the midterm elections scheduled to take place in the United States on November 3."
Emphasizing that Iran would not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, Trump stated, "Iran will not have a nuclear weapon."
