Tsahkna: Estonia has been inspired for years by the resilience of Israeli society
Tallinn, March 17 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna emphasized during his meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog the historical ties between the two countries as well as their commitment to cooperation in innovation, cybersecurity, and defense.

Providing details about the agenda, Tsahkna said: "In addition to discussing recent developments in the Middle East and their impact on European security, we held a comprehensive discussion with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on the long-standing ties between Estonia and Israel."
Highlighting a historical milestone between the two countries, Tsahkna stated: "This year marks the 100th anniversary of Estonia becoming the first country in the world to grant cultural autonomy to the Jewish minority; this remarkable milestone continues to form a strong foundation for our relations today. Estonia has been inspired for decades by the resilience of Israeli society."
Noting that the visit paves the way for future partnerships, Tsahkna added: "This visit also helps to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in innovation, cybersecurity, economic relations, and defense."
