Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made assessments regarding operations against Russian forces in March.

Zelensky stated that 33,988 Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded in drone attacks, and that total losses exceeded 35,000 when combined with artillery and other strikes. He noted that these figures were verified and that there are visual records of each attack.

Referring to the effectiveness of Ukrainian units on the front line, Zelensky highlighted that certain special units have stood out particularly in the use of drones. He also reported that 274 Russian air defense systems were targeted in March, along with ammunition depots and military logistics elements.

Zelensky stated that detailed reports on all operations at the front have been prepared together with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and can be shared with allies. He added that new steps are being planned to increase infantry strength, expand the contract soldier system, and enhance cooperation in the defense industry.
