Zelensky: We must strengthen our defense as much as possible
Kyiv, August 26 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the front line and made assessments on strengthening the country's defense.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a statement that he inspected the front line in the Oleksandrivskyi area together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi.
Zelensky said he met with soldiers of the 80th Halychyna Separate Air Assault Brigade, thanked them for their service and presented state awards to the troops.
Stating that they discussed strengthening defense with commanders, Zelensky said the talks covered issues including the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles, long-range artillery systems, radars, direct financing for brigades, and the training and motivation of soldiers.
Zelensky said, “We must strengthen our defenders as much as possible.”
