Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese assessed the measures implemented by the government since the last sitting of Parliament.

Albanese announced that bulk-billing rates had increased, enrolments in free TAFE education programs had surpassed 800,000, and paid placement opportunities had been expanded to more students.

Prime Minister Albanese said these developments were only part of the steps taken by the government recently, arguing that the government remained focused on delivering tangible results for Australians.

In his statement, Albanese argued that political debate was being driven by division and anger, while the Labor government continued to work together to deliver “real change” for Australians.
