Albares: 1 million euros in emergency aid sent to Colombia
Madrid, August 12 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said that an initial emergency aid package worth 1 million euros had been sent as part of urgent support for the Colombian people.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said in a statement that an initial emergency aid package worth 1 million euros had been sent to Colombia through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
Albares said the aid package included medicines, basic-needs kits and support for healthcare personnel, adding that teams from the Spanish Embassy in Colombia and the Spanish Consulate General in Bogota were also continuing their work to assist Spanish citizens in the country.
