Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand stated that Canada and Germany are reliable allies, noting that discussions focused on further strengthening the strong partnership between the two countries.

Anand said that expanding cooperation in strategic areas such as technology, artificial intelligence and critical minerals was on the agenda, adding: “Canada and Germany are reliable allies. With my German counterpart Johann Wadephul, we discussed how we can further strengthen our already strong partnership.”

Anand also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in key sectors, particularly technology, artificial intelligence and critical minerals.
