Bulgaria aims to increase the number of Polish tourists
Sofia, July 14 (Hibya) – Bulgarian Tourism Minister Ilin Dimitrov said they aim to turn the growth in the Polish market into year-round tourism activity, announcing that B2B meetings with representatives of Poland's tourism sector will be held in September.
During his meeting with Anna Janiszewska-Fronczek, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Polish Embassy in Bulgaria, Dimitrov said: "The Polish market is developing extremely well, and we want to turn this sustainable growth into more travel between our two countries throughout the year."
The meeting discussed organizing a promotional event in Poland with the participation of Bulgarian tourism companies and strengthening cooperation between the tourism sectors of the two countries. It was also proposed to organize an event in Bansko in 2027 to present Bulgaria's winter tourism potential to members of the diplomatic corps.
