Providing details about the scope and purpose of the program, Carney said, "The Canada Child Benefit helps 6 million children across the country, and it will increase this Monday."
Emphasizing the importance of the financial support for families' essential expenses, Carney stated, "Families will now receive up to $8,157 per child annually to help cover the costs of food, clothing, and child care."
Carney concluded his statement by saying, "The money is going where it is needed most."
