Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney highlighted the contribution the increased support package will make to family budgets, stating that the assistance is being directed to those who need it most.

Providing details about the scope and purpose of the program, Carney said, "The Canada Child Benefit helps 6 million children across the country, and it will increase this Monday."

Emphasizing the importance of the financial support for families' essential expenses, Carney stated, "Families will now receive up to $8,157 per child annually to help cover the costs of food, clothing, and child care."

Carney concluded his statement by saying, "The money is going where it is needed most."
