Carney discusses regional security with Jordan’s King Abdullah
Ottawa, July 31 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he discussed regional security, the humanitarian situation in Gaza, and the development of Canada-Jordan relations with Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

Carney said, “I thanked King Abdullah for Jordan’s leading role in promoting regional security and, in particular, in addressing the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza.”
Carney noted that they also reviewed opportunities to increase trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on strengthening the partnership between Canada and Jordan.
