Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan welcomes the developments regarding the implementation of the disarmament process under the Gaza Peace Plan.

Sharif stated, “Pakistan welcomes the developments concerning the implementation of the disarmament process under the Gaza Peace Plan.”

Praising the mediation efforts of the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye, Sharif said, “Under the bold leadership of President Donald Trump, this development represents a significant achievement for the Peace Council.”

Sharif expressed hope that all commitments under the Gaza Peace Plan would be implemented, adding, “We hope these efforts will contribute to the establishment of an independent, sovereign, and territorially integral Palestinian State, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders and in accordance with United Nations resolutions.”
