Doha, June 8 (Hibya) - Consultation sessions are continuing in Qatar as part of the 2026–2030 National Human Rights Action Plan.
Consultation sessions are continuing in Qatar as part of the 2026–2030 National Human Rights Action Plan.
According to a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sessions are being held under the coordination of the National Committee for the Preparation of the National Human Rights Action Plan.
The process is chaired by Minister of State Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, while the meetings are hosted by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Planning Council.
The sessions addressed the preparation of the plan, strengthening its alignment with national policies and legislation, and proposals aimed at protecting human rights.
Officials emphasized that the action plan will serve as an important national framework for the advancement of human rights.
