Cooper: We are united in condemning Iran's escalation
London, March 13 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated that during her meeting with Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan they condemned Iran’s attacks and would work together to protect energy infrastructure.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper made a statement regarding Iran's air strikes in the region and threats to energy security.
Noting that she held a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, Cooper said: “I held an important meeting to express the United Kingdom's solidarity with our long-standing partners, the Saudis, in the face of Iranian air strikes.”
Emphasizing that the two countries share a common stance against regional threats, Cooper said: “We are united in condemning Iran's escalation and in working together to reduce threats to energy infrastructure.”
