Ukrainian President Zelensky emphasized that easing sanctions against Russia would increase Moscow’s war capacity and stressed that the 20th sanctions package prepared by the European Union must come into force.

Zelensky said that even a single easing step by the United States could provide Russia with about 10 billion dollars for the war and added: “This certainly will not help peace. Russia spends this money on weapons, especially unmanned aerial vehicles targeting Ukrainians on a large scale.”

Zelensky also referred to intelligence reports, stating: “We see that these unmanned aerial vehicles are also being used against Iran’s neighbors, countries in the Middle East, and Europeans and Americans stationed at bases in the region.”
