Dar meets EU High Representative Kallas
Manila, July 22 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas during the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in Manila.
During the meeting, Kaja Kallas recalled her recent visit to Islamabad for the 8th round of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue, while both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cooperation under the Pakistan-EU Strategic Engagement Plan.
The meeting also covered regional developments, with both sides emphasizing that sustained diplomacy remains the only viable path to achieving peace and stability in the context of U.S.-Iran relations.
