Germany and Hungary discuss trade and investment
Berlin, September 14 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said that more than 6,000 German companies operating in Hungary provide employment to over 250,000 people and that he held talks aimed at increasing trade and investment between the two countries.
German Foreign Minister Wadephul shared a post on social media regarding German companies in Hungary and economic relations between the two countries.
Wadephul said that more than 6,000 active German companies operate in Hungary and that these companies employ more than 250,000 people.
Stating that this structure provides a foundation for further growth, Wadephul said he discussed expanding trade and investment with Hungarian Economy Minister István Kapitány and a delegation of senior German business representatives at the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
