Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli Foreign Minister Saar held a meeting in Jerusalem with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Hennis-Plasschaert.

During the meeting, Saar said Hezbollah joined the war under pressure from Iran and had done so again as it did on October 8. He stated that in the past week more attacks on Israel were launched from Lebanese territory than from Iran.

Saar said Israel decided this time not to evacuate citizens living in northern settlements and stressed the government’s determination to protect residents in these areas. He also stated that the deployment of the Israel Defense Forces in the border area is critical to prevent a possible attack by Hezbollah ground forces and attacks against Israeli civilians.

Saar added that weakening Hezbollah is in the common interest of both Israel and Lebanon, claiming that Hezbollah initiated the attack and that the international community had not taken steps to stop it.
