Spain supports UNRWA
Madrid, March 9 (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced that financial and political support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which plays a key role in humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts in Gaza, will continue.
Spanish Foreign Minister Albares stated that Spain will continue its financial and political support for UNRWA.
Albares noted that UNRWA plays a key role in humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts carried out in Gaza.
Albares, who met with UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini in Madrid, thanked Lazzarini for his work carried out under difficult conditions during his term.
