French President Emmanuel Macron stated in his Europe Day message that Europe is a shared heritage shaped by wars and crises. Macron said that the European Union has faced many challenges, from the pandemic to economic fluctuations and the war in Ukraine, in a spirit of solidarity.

Emmanuel Macron emphasized in his Europe Day statement that Europe is historically a shared set of values rebuilt after war and destruction.

Macron stated that Europe was shaped by the struggle of those who believe nationalism and war are not destiny, and that the continent protects its citizens by acting quickly, strongly, and in solidarity during times of crisis.

Macron also stated that the European Union is not merely a common market, but also supports European citizens in many areas such as agriculture, youth, universities, research, employment, culture, borders, and security.

At the end of his message, Macron stated that being European is a source of pride and celebrated Europe Day.
