Metsola: We must strengthen cooperation between the EU and the United Kingdom
Brussels, November 3 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola met with representatives of the British Chamber of Commerce in Brussels ahead of talks aimed at developing relations between the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola stated that an important month had begun for EU-UK relations. Metsola said she had met with representatives of the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham) ahead of the Parliamentary Partnership Assembly in London and the summit in Brussels.
Emphasizing the need to capitalize on the momentum in relations, Metsola noted that the goal is to build on the progress achieved so far, strengthen cooperation and deliver tangible results for citizens and businesses on both sides.
