The STOXX Europe 600 index, representing Europe as a whole, traded at 605.51, while Germany’s DAX index was recorded at 23,991.27.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index fell by 0.14% to 10,363.93, while in France the CAC 40 index traded at 7,976.12.
In Italy, the FTSE MIB index declined by 767.99 points, or 1.59%, to 47,478.13.
