Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez: Employment hit a record in April
Madrid, May 5 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez described the decline in unemployment figures and the increase in female and youth employment in April as a “national success.”
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez shared the latest data and economic indicators regarding the country’s labor market.
Highlighting the historic improvement in employment figures, Sanchez said, “Employment hit a record in April and unemployment fell below 2.4 million for the first time since June 2008.”
Referring to positive developments across different demographic groups, Prime Minister Sanchez stated, “Female employment has reached a new peak and youth unemployment is at its lowest level ever.”
Emphasizing the government’s goals and the point reached, Sanchez said, “More, stable and quality jobs. A national success.”
