Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to a statement by Bulgaria's Ministry of Interior, more than 3 tons of cannabis plants were found in total in the Pirin and Ograzhden mountains during operations carried out by Border Police teams.

During an operation carried out on August 14 by teams from the Petrich Police Station and the Special Air Surveillance Unit of the Border Police Directorate on the southwestern slopes of the Pirin Mountains, a cannabis plantation covering approximately 1,600 square meters was discovered in the village of Sugarevo, in Sandanski Municipality.

It was reported that 1,546 plants were found in the plantation, with a total weight of 3 tons and 215 kilograms, and that their height ranged from 120 to 230 centimeters. The seized plants were destroyed by burning in the presence of a commission. A preliminary investigation was launched into the incident.

A Border Police helicopter also detected another cannabis plantation on land belonging to the village of Baskaltsi in Petrich Municipality, on Ograzhden Mountain. It was reported that 28 kilograms of cannabis plants were destroyed there. A preliminary investigation was launched at the Zlatarevo Police Station.
