Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev responded to opposition criticism of the government's management program.

According to a statement from the Bulgarian Council of Ministers, Radev told journalists that they had prepared a detailed management program containing clear measures and based on strong justifications, and that they aimed to implement it.

Radev stated that the government continues its efforts to implement the goals put forward by “Progressive Bulgaria” during the election campaign. In this context, he said steps were being taken to remove the oligarchy from political power and cut off its access to public resources.

Radev noted that efforts were continuing to expand oversight of the use of public resources and to identify accounts and assets abroad, adding that work was also underway to identify individuals within oligarchic structures who act on behalf of others.

Referring also to the work of ministers in the government, Radev said the pace of work was high and that the ministers would inform the public about the reforms they are carrying out and the work planned for the future.
