U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio made a statement regarding the activities of the Iranian regime and military operations in the region.

Referring to Iran's aggressive stance, Rubio said: "This is a terrorist regime and we see that they carry out terrorism by using state elements as well as weapons such as missiles and one-way attack drones. The purpose of this mission is to destroy their ability to continue doing this, and we are on a good path to achieve this goal."

Emphasizing the sacrifices of American soldiers, Rubio said: "Our American soldiers continue to serve with extraordinary dedication, often remaining outside the headlines. Their courage and sacrifices inspire us all."

Delivering a message of determination regarding unjustly detained citizens, Rubio stated: "Under the leadership of the President, we will not stop until every American unjustly detained returns home. U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Day exists because of families’ determination not to allow their loved ones to be forgotten. We celebrate those who have returned, honor those who lost their lives in captivity, and promise to bring back those who are still detained."
