Saar spoke with Colombia’s newly elected President
Jerusalem, June 24 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he held a phone conversation with Colombia’s newly elected President.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated that during the conversation he congratulated Colombia’s new head of state on his election victory, describing the result as representing “hope and a better future” for the country.
Saar said that the mutual commitment to strengthening relations between Colombia and Israel was reaffirmed during the call.
The Israeli Foreign Minister added, “We are committed to an alliance between Colombia and Israel that will be stronger than ever,” noting that cooperation would be developed for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
