According to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shaheen received Felix Andacher, the new head of the Mission for Support of the Palestinian Police and Rule of Law.

Shaheen congratulated Andacher on his new position, saying the mission plays an important role in supporting the Palestinian police, strengthening the rule of law, contributing to the development of Palestinian society and helping achieve justice and stability.

Shaheen said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is ready to continue working in close coordination with the mission and provide the necessary support to facilitate its tasks, stressing in particular the importance of intensifying the mission's work in Gaza and at the Rafah Border Crossing at the current stage.

Andacher, for his part, said they would continue supporting the Palestinian government and Palestinian police, highlighting the importance of strengthening state institutions and building a stable society. He said they support the implementation of the two-state solution and are ready to share their experience in training and capacity building and make every possible effort to support Palestine.
