U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the repair work at the Reflecting Pool.

Trump said, "The Reflecting Pool, which suffered extensive damage from mentally disturbed vandals, has been completely drained, and repairs to the major damage are continuing. We managed to complete the work by the Fourth of July weekend. What kind of people would do something like this? We are looking for a vandal-resistant material, but that should never have been necessary. We hope these scoundrels are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Trump added, "We received great reviews about last night's speech. There was tremendous attendance. Pass the SAVE AMERICA ACT. Thank you."
