Brussels, November 6 (Hibya) – Two chapters of the membership negotiations were provisionally closed at the 30th Accession Conference between the European Union (EU) and Montenegro. This marked a new milestone in Montenegro's EU accession process.

In a statement, the Council of the EU announced that the provisionally closed negotiation chapters covered the free movement of goods and food safety.
