Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha meets businessman Temerty
Toronto, September 10 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that he met with philanthropist and businessman James Temerty in Toronto, Canada.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that during his meeting in Toronto, they discussed humanitarian aid projects for Ukraine, strengthening sanctions against Russia and using frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine.
Expressing his satisfaction with the meeting, Sybiha said, "I was pleased to meet James Temerty in Toronto, a longtime friend of Ukraine whose years of support for our country are truly admirable."
Referring to the agenda of the meeting and strategic priorities, Sybiha said, "We discussed ongoing humanitarian projects and practical ways to provide more support to Ukrainians. We also discussed priorities where a strong Ukrainian voice in Canada is of great importance today: strengthening sanctions against Russia, closing Ukraine's airspace and advancing the use of frozen Russian assets."
Highlighting Temerty's contributions to Ukraine, Sybiha said, "I thanked James for everything he has done and continues to do for Ukraine. His commitment is an example of how personal initiative, strong institutions and effective advocacy can be transformed into real support for our country."
