Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the European Union for opening the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova, emphasizing the importance of advancing the process in the same direction.

He noted that the meeting covered the continuation of the negotiation process, the timetable for opening the next five clusters, and the steps on Ukraine’s path toward European integration, as well as the implementation of the financial support package and preparations for the disbursement of the first tranche.

Zelensky also stated that the strengthening of sanctions against Russia, diplomatic efforts, and the peace process were discussed.
