Berendsen: We discussed collective deterrence and defense at the NATO Summit
Amsterdam, July 9 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said that allies discussed collective deterrence and defense during the NATO Summit in Ankara.
Berendsen stated that the Netherlands continues to contribute to NATO's deterrence and defense missions, particularly through its F-35 fleet based at Volkel Air Base. He also thanked the Dutch Ministry of Defence and U.S. partners for their cooperation, emphasizing that efforts to strengthen the Alliance's collective defense capabilities will continue.
