According to CCTV, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Chen Xi said at a press conference that the Chinese Air Force has reached a critical stage in its strategic transformation based on the integration of space, air and land operations, as well as a balance between offensive and defensive capabilities.

Chen stated that with the J-20, J-16 and J-10 fighter aircraft families, the Y-20 transport aircraft series, bombers and early warning platforms, the Chinese Air Force has significantly enhanced its capabilities in strategic aerospace strike, early warning, aerospace defense and strategic airlift.

The statement added that the Chinese Air Force is accelerating its modernization, continues to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and will continue carrying out its mission of protecting the country's airspace security while contributing to regional peace and stability.
