Islamabad, July 11 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received Tipu Usman Chaudhry following his appointment as Pakistan's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Tipu Usman Chaudhry, who has been appointed as Pakistan's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
Emphasizing the importance of Pakistan-UK relations, Dar instructed that efforts be intensified to further strengthen political, economic, and people-to-people cooperation between the two countries.
Dar also stressed that effective consular and welfare services for the Pakistani diaspora living in the United Kingdom should remain a priority. During the meeting, he thanked Chaudhry for his contributions as Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and wished him success in his new assignment.
