Eu Day Light

The dollar dominated foreign exchange markets during the week's trading session. The US dollar gained against the Japanese yen and Canadian dollar, while the euro, British pound and Australian dollar declined against the US currency.

The Australian dollar / US dollar (AUD/USD) pair recorded the sharpest decline, falling 0.2942 percent to 0.7116. The British pound / US dollar (GBP/USD) pair declined 0.1037 percent to 1.3481, while the euro / US dollar (EUR/USD) pair fell 0.0953 percent to trade at 1.1536.

Among other pairs in which the US dollar strengthened, the US dollar / Japanese yen (USD/JPY) pair rose 0.19 percent to 154.64. The US dollar / Canadian dollar (USD/CAD) pair gained 0.11 percent and ended the day at 1.3913.
