Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that two criminal investigations have been launched into incidents in Gaza in which civilians were harmed.

In a statement, the ministry said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had decided to launch two criminal investigations into tragic incidents in which civilians were harmed during fighting against terrorists in Gaza.

The statement argued that the investigations demonstrate the strength of Israel's law enforcement system and its commitment to transparency and accountability.

It was stated that Israel would continue to uphold the highest standards of the rule of law, including in the fight against terrorist organizations.
