Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that the sculpture, first exhibited at Burning Man, was born from flames and ashes and remained standing tall despite being burned by fire and forged from metal.

Noting that the structure represents a powerful symbol for his country, Sybiha said Russia's attempts to destroy Ukraine have only strengthened the people's determination to fight, create and move forward.

Sybiha said they gathered in front of the sculpture to discuss their ongoing diplomatic efforts and the ways Ukraine can tell its own story to the world.

Emphasizing that his country has its own voice and points of reference, Sybiha said: “Ukraine is not defined by what Russia is trying to destroy. We are defined by what we defend, what we create and what we bring to the world.”
