Washington, August 19 (Hibya) - United States (US) President Donald Trump commented on the military and economic measures being implemented against Iran.
US President Donald Trump addressed the latest situation regarding Iran, saying they were closely monitoring maritime traffic in the region.
Trump said the strait remains open and that a large number of vessels are passing through, adding that this situation has not been sufficiently reflected in public coverage.
Highlighting the results of the strategy being pursued in the region, Trump said: “The naval blockade was extremely effective.”
Pointing to uncertainty over how the process will unfold, Trump concluded his remarks by saying: “We’ll see what happens.”
