Jerusalem, August 16 (Hibya) – Israel’s delegation in Colombia is supporting search and rescue operations in areas affected by the earthquake.

The joint rescue team established by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Home Front Command has reportedly been working in the city of Cali for more than 24 hours.
Engineers serving with the delegation are working alongside local Colombian teams at the city’s university hospital, providing engineering consultancy and technical guidance for debris removal operations.
The work is reportedly being carried out with priority given to avoiding disruption to the hospital’s operations and ensuring that medical services continue without interruption.
The teams are also reported to be helping solve complex engineering problems encountered during debris removal.
