According to CCTV, Russia said on Saturday that its forces had taken control of a settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukraine reported the same day that it had carried out long-range strikes on a military airfield in Russia and the Progress Rocket and Space Center.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry’s daily report, Russian forces targeted Ukraine’s logistics centers, fuel and energy facilities, transport infrastructure, as well as assembly workshops for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned surface vessels over the past 24 hours.

The report also said that 147 temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian units and foreign mercenaries in various regions were struck. The Russian Defense Ministry said attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure and vessels serving the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also continuing.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that 233 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian forces were reported to have repelled Russian attacks in multiple directions.

The Ukrainian side also reported that Russian command centers, troop concentration areas, artillery systems and unmanned aerial vehicle control points were targeted.

Ukrainian forces were also reported to have attacked a military airfield in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and the Progress Rocket and Space Center in Samara Oblast.
