Dutch Prime Minister Jetten noted that the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is committed to its mission of combating global poverty, inequality, and climate change, and is an important partner for the Netherlands.

Referring to activities carried out in Ukraine and the Palestinian territories, Jetten stated that UNDP plays a role in peacebuilding, security, and the rule of law.

Jetten added that he met with UNDP President Alexander De Croo together with Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, and that they discussed the organization’s global activities.
