Petro: So far, 83 young soldiers are alive
Bogota, March 23 (Hibya) - Colombian President Gustavo Petro stated that 83 soldiers are alive following the plane crash and thanked local residents and soldiers for their intervention.

Highlighting the intervention of the people of Putumayo, he said: «It was the local people who saved them from death. Parents and soldiers who rushed to the scene showed great solidarity.»
Emphasizing that loss of life should be minimized, Petro said: «Life is the priority for society and the state.»
Regarding healthcare services, Petro instructed that the military hospital operate at full capacity and that mobile field hospitals be dispatched to the region.
