Palestine reacts to obstruction of Greek trade union delegation
Ramallah, June 21 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israeli authorities prevented a Greek trade union delegation from entering Palestine, questioned its members, detained them, and later deported them.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Israeli authorities blocked a Greek trade union delegation from entering the State of Palestine, interrogated its members, held them in detention for hours, and then deported them.
The statement said that the measure violates international law and trade union freedoms and targets initiatives of solidarity with Palestine. The ministry also called on the international community to exert pressure on Israel and impose sanctions against it.
