Palestinian Foreign Minister Shaheen receives credentials copy from China's new ambassador
Ramallah, July 11 (Hibya) - Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shaheen received a copy of the credentials of Sun Zhen, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Palestine.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shaheen received in Ramallah a copy of the credentials of Sun Zhen, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Palestine.
According to the ministry's statement, Shaheen wished Ambassador Sun Zhen success in his new assignment and highlighted the historic friendship between Palestine and China. She also expressed appreciation for China's support for the Palestinian people and its humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
The statement added that Ambassador Sun Zhen reaffirmed China's continued support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, its commitment to the two-state solution, and its intention to further strengthen cooperation with Palestine in various fields.
