Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a get-well message for Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who underwent a medical procedure.

In a post on social media, Sharif wished Ibrahim "a swift and smooth recovery during the medical procedures."

Sharif said the people of Pakistan were also praying for the Malaysian Prime Minister's health and well-being, adding: "The people of Pakistan join me in praying for his continued good health and well-being."

Sharif also expressed hope that Allah would enable Anwar Ibrahim to return to his duties soon, saying: "May Allah SWT bless him with a swift return to his duties."
