Kallas: Moscow is escalating its campaign of terror against civilians
Brussels, August 7 (Hibya) - European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced that the EU has adopted new sanctions listings in response to the latest Russian air strikes.
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said that every new attack on Ukraine is another reason for Europe to increase pressure on Russia.
Referring to the response to the latest Russian air strikes, Kallas said, "Today, the EU adopted new sanctions listings targeting five individuals involved in Russia's military-industrial complex."
Commenting on the situation of the Russian military on the battlefield and its actions against civilians, Kallas stated, "While its army is bogged down on the battlefield, Moscow is further escalating its campaign of terror against civilians."
Kallas concluded her statement by saying, "The EU must continue to intensify pressure on Russia until Moscow ends the war."
