Saar: A new chapter is opening in Israel-Colombia relations
Tel Aviv, August 7 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with officials of Colombia's incoming government ahead of the inauguration of the country's new president to discuss bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that, ahead of the inauguration ceremony of Colombia's new president, he met with Colombia's vice president, ministers of the incoming government, and other senior officials.
Saar said that the goal is not only to strengthen relations between Israel and Colombia once again, but also to elevate them to a higher level.
He added that the two sides discussed concrete opportunities to deepen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, defense, the environment, and other areas, stressing that a new chapter has begun in relations between the two countries.
