Portugal: We will renew our commitment to international law and multilateralism

Highlighting growing international instability, the statement noted that Portugal would maintain this commitment during its new term on the UN Security Council, which will begin in January. It also stated that Portugal would assume the rotating presidency of the Council in the same month.
