Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said he had a meaningful meeting with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Samir Paul Kapur.

Saidov noted with satisfaction that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States has reached an entirely new level in recent years, emphasizing that the close dialogue between the leaders of the two countries has given fresh momentum to existing cooperation.

Speaking about the details of the meeting, Saidov said: "During our discussions, we thoroughly addressed the further deepening of bilateral relations and comprehensive preparations for upcoming events at various levels."
