Tajani: Pope Leo’s words reinforce the Italian government’s commitment
Rome, April 13 (Hibya) — Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he appreciates Pope Leo’s visit to Africa and his peace efforts in Sudan.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he welcomed the Pope’s peace intervention with appreciation.
Commenting on the Pope’s mission, Tajani said, “I extend my best wishes to Pope Leo for his apostolic journey to Africa. I greatly appreciated his intervention for peace in Sudan.”
Referring to the impact of the Pope’s words, Tajani said, “His authoritative words further strengthen the Italian government’s commitment through its humanitarian missions.”
Drawing attention to the contribution to the peace process, Tajani said, “These words make an important contribution to achieving a ceasefire and ending the civil war after three years of violent conflict.”
Tajani concluded his statement with the words: “Let us accompany his mission with our prayers.”
